Hello, my name is Sarah. I’m a Graphic Designer for HIA, previous Graphic Designer + Online Manager of Frockaholics, Graphic Designer + Marketing Manager of Canberra Motorcycle Centre and graduate of the Canberra Institute of Technology. I live and work in Canberra.
I consider myself to be extremely fortunate, because my ‘job’, such as it is, simply entails doing what I love. I call myself a designer as it’s a nice umbrella term for the social media / web design / print design / branding work that I do.
More recently, I have been getting more interested in HTML, CSS and user interface design. Occasionally I dabble with the idea of being a blogger, but by and large my focus is on design and all of its connected parts: photography, interior design, textiles, user interface design, web design... I keep myself current by completing treehouse.com tutorials, watching ted talks & reviewing AGDA.com.au material.
I have strong software skills in: Outlook, Windows, OS X Yosemite, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver & Adobe Lightroom.
